About Food2Go
All volunteer organization established in 2008 by Living Hope Church
Provides weekend food (breakfast and lunch) to Centerville students with food insecurities in a respectful, nonjudgmental manner
Students are referred to the program by their counselors at school. There are no forms to fill out or proof of financial need required.
Food provided is nutritious and purchased locally
The program is funded by Living Hope Church and food/monetary donations from the Centerville community
The food bags are packaged weekly by students in the Community Based Learning Program at Centerville High School, giving them an opportunity to learn inventory and sorting skills as well as gain a sense of pride in what they do
